Troubleshooting: when a video comes out wrong
Fixes for common AI video problems: blocked prompts, extra people, wrong positions, looking at the camera, soft scenes, changing faces and failed generations.
My prompt was blocked
Read the message: it names the reason. The usual causes:
- A name in the prompt ("Anna", a celebrity, a film character). Use "the woman" or an
@character. - A youth word (teen, schoolgirl, baby) or an age under 18. Write "a woman in her twenties".
- Sleep, alcohol or force (asleep, drunk, forced, rough). Rewrite with clearly mutual, eager actions.
- Drugs, blood or weapons near a sexual scene.
Blocks for minors, animals, non-consent or sex with violence count as strikes; 3 strikes in 30 days suspend the account. See What is not allowed.
"The model refused this request"
The video model itself declined. Reword the prompt, soften one detail, or try another model.
"A reference image looks like a real person's photo"
The model blocks realistic photos of people. Use AI-generated images, for example AI portraits.
Extra people appear
Write "strictly two adult characters only" (or one), and describe each person once.
The position is wrong
Describe bodies physically instead of using slang: who sits, lies or kneels, on what, facing which way, where the hips and hands are. The Scene builder does this for you.
They look into the camera
By default the app tells the model not to. If it still happens, add "they look at each other, never at the camera".
The scene turned into just kissing
Set Explicitness to Softcore, Midcore or Hardcore. It turns off the model's own rewriting, which tends to tone scenes down.
The face changes during the clip or between clips
Use a character with clear AI portraits, repeat the look in extend prompts, and avoid big camera moves that turn faces away.
The video cuts to a new shot
Keep to one place and a few actions. Don't write timestamps in the prompt; use the Timeline, which sends your actions as one continuous shot.
My generation failed
Credits are refunded automatically. Common causes: an image that is too small, a file the model couldn't open, an unsupported length, or a job that took over 60 minutes. Try again, or change the file.
My video is stuck in "Queued"
If the video provider is having trouble, jobs wait in the queue (credits are refunded while they wait and charged again when they start). After 12 hours a waiting job fails and stays refunded.
