Replace character
Swap a person in a video for one of your AI characters while the motion, camera and scene stay the same.
Replace character puts one of your characters into an existing video in place of someone. The motion, camera, timing and scene stay the same.
How to use it
- Go to Create → Replace character, drop a video, or press Replace on a video in your Library.
- Pick the character, and say who to replace: "the woman on the left" (default: the main person).
- Optional: add a second person with another character.
- Optional: add a note, for example "she has a small tattoo on her left shoulder".
- Press Generate.
We read the source video's positions and motion first, so the new person moves exactly like the original.
Rules
- Only characters with portraits generated by AI from a description can be used. Characters built from real photos are greyed out.
- Swapping two people at once can mix up faces. If it does, replace one person, then use Replace on the result for the other.
- The same source limits as Video to video apply: Wan sources up to 15 seconds.

Like Video to video: 2 × the source length × the price per second.
